Community Library gardens in Salem is the place to be!
All
of the various gardens on the entire library grounds, which
include the trees, shrubs, and water sources have met the
requirements for our certification in the National Wildlife
Federations Backyard Habitat Program. We are pleased to set
an example and provide first-hand information about an earth-friendly
and environmentally-supportive ecosystem.
The
Community Library gardens are successful because of the dedicated
and talented gardeners who return each year as a team. Many
thanks to all our volunteers who have helped throughout the
years.
There is always something to do in the K.I.D.S. garden or
the other perennial beds on the library grounds. More dirty
hands are always welcome - please join in the fun! For more
information, please contact LeeAnn Briese at 262-843-3348.
Yes,
it's true -- Community Library has so much to offer inside
and outside all year. It's a great place to be!
